product description
I am selling a new and unworn Thom Browne two piece suit. Bought for a special event that never happened, and since I never wear a suit, it's time to part with it and try to get back what I paid for. It is still in its original box and label. The photos included are from the website as well as some I took. Apologies for my unprofessional photos: it's been sitting in its original costume box in my closet for months, so don't worry about the wrinkles! Originally purchased for $3,180. Thom Browne Dark Gray Super 120's Wide Lapel Twill Two-Piece Suit. Original Retail: $3,180 – “Size 1” in “Wide Cuff – Fit 4”: per Thom Browne website size guide (see attached screenshots), size 1 equals Us/Uk 38, France 42, Italy 48. For more exact measurements of the jacket and pants, see the second photo in the size guide. - (the suit is currently sold out): Dark gray two-piece suit with wide lapels in super 120 wool twill. Signature striped grosgrain loop tabs at back neck and waist. -100% Wool -Made in Italy
about THOM BROWNE
Born in Pennsylvania in 1965, Thom Browne moved to New York City in 1997, where he worked in the creative department of Club Monaco, a position he kept until launching his own label. Believing that the modern ubiquity of casual dress makes for a gap in the market and lends the wearing of suits a sort of subversive edge, Browne has become known for his re-imagining of classic tailored cuts. He debuted his womenswear collection in 2003 and introduced his first full line of women’s ready-to-wear for spring 2011. Much like his menswear, his womenswear collection takes classic styles of dresses, jackets, and trousers—often in an American palette of red, white and navy—and adds edgy details such as sequined ginghams, textured weaves, and unique prints.
