product description
Oscar DE LA Renta Silk & Leather Strips Basketweave Dress SZ 6 Fall 2012. The way in which the fabric was created for this dress from Oscar de la Renta's Fall 2012 Collection is remarkable: it's actually more of an assemblage than a fabric, per se. Underneath the strips and stripes that you see in the photos is a sheer black chiffon shell to which are attached raw strips of red and black chiffon and strips of white leather. This assemblage is enhanced with little bits of black yarn and white crochet, strips of tiny back paillettes, and black bugle beads, all of which comprise a most unusual ""fabric."" For all it's uniqueness, the dress itself is a classic pencil dress, sleeveless, with a defined waist, a zipper closure, and a black silk lining. Labeled US size 6. Oscar garments tend to run true to size, but please refer to the measurements for the best guidance regarding fit and compare with a similar garment that fits you.* Measurements - Underarm chest measurement is 37"" - Waist is 28.5"" - Hips measure 38"" - Length is 16"" from high point of shoulder to waist. - Full length is 39.5"" down center back. Condition Excellent condition with no apparent flaws.
