Part of Les Collections Historiques, the Christfole Gallia Carnation server would have originally been intended to serve dragées - sugared almonds designed to stave off one's appetite between meals. While the carnation may be known alongside roses as a symbol of love, it was also favoured by Oscar Wilde, who was never without a green carnation in his buttonhole.
